Primary prompt

Copy, customize, then build.

Build a transparent option-comparison calculator for evaluating up to five choices against weighted criteria. Everything can run in the browser without an account.

Let users name options, define criteria, assign each criterion a 0–100 weight, and score each option from 1–10. Normalize weights automatically and show the calculation formula. Present ranked results, a criterion-by-criterion table, and a sensitivity control that demonstrates how changing one weight affects the ranking. Let users download or print the result.

Use a technical, legible interface with cream, ink, and amber. Never pretend the highest score is objectively correct. Make assumptions visible and explain that the tool structures judgment rather than replacing it.

Useful follow-up commands

01

Add URL-based sharing while keeping all decision data on the user's device.

02

Create a plain-language explanation of why the top two options differ.

03

Add validation so empty criteria and all-zero weights cannot produce misleading results.
